A name with a negative connotation can have a positive meaning depending on the context.
For instance, when the late Michael Jackson sang ‘I’m Bad,’ he actually meant he was excellent in what he was doing.
‘Wicked’ could mean ‘wonderful,’ ‘savage’ could mean ‘impressive,’ ‘crazy’ could mean ‘amazing,’ etc.
In like manner, ‘Red Devils’ is a good name which in a way has a connection with the phrase ‘be a devil,’ an expression that encourages someone to do something.
‘Be a Devil’ or ‘Red Devils’ does not in any way suggest a connection with the Devil or Satan. The moniker ‘Red Devils’ underscores aggressiveness, and fierce-playing style; an unrelenting spirit that propels Man U to achieve great heights.
